
Biography
Claudio Piselli has many works such as vibraphone and percussion player both in orchestra and in music formations. He has worked with the National Academy of Santa Cecilia and the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. As a soloist he plays in the Aula Magna of Roma Tre, with programs dedicated to the "Novecento Musicale in the American continent", performing authors such as L.Bernstein, J. Cage and S. Reich. He has worked with Luis Bacalov, Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani, performing with the latter in several Theaters in China. He played in Orchestra for television broadcasts and theatrical performances. He plays the vibraphone as a soloist and in various Jazz ensembles the last with Giampiero Locatelli, Andrea Nunzi, Leonardo Borghi, Fabio Gianolla, Simone Alessandrini, Baba Sissoko, Marco Guidolotti, Emanuele Urso, Vittorio Solimene, Abu Djigo, Marco Tiso, Maurizio Abeni. In April 2017 he publishes his first album NOW with the Dodicilune / IRD label. He is currently professor of percussion at the music institute of Rieti.
